It offers one-of-a-kind pieces, limited capsule collections, and exclusive design services. KLCD Collections is owned and operated by designer Katherine M Crawford and it is based in Toronto Canada.

I have been an artist and designer for over 25 years and creativity,love of life and staying true to one's own individuality are some of the most important things to me.

I believe in doing what we love and celebrating our gifts. When we allow ourselves to shine, this spreads more love and joy in the world.

The imagination is endless. It is a birthright to be expressed ,materialized and shared.

I have one rule in designing and that is..."there are no rules". I create on my own terms . I like to mix rough and shiny surfaces and implement a multitude of colors, sizes and components to present a contrasting aesthetic distinction.

Making pieces that are multidimensional delivers artistic interest and adds to that jewelry wow factor.

CONTACTING THE DESIGNER

Contacting the designer is always the firs step. If you decide that you would like to place a commission, you will be sent a custom order design form.

This form includes:

-personal information(name, address, phone, etc)

-choice of stones

-ideas and concepts

-shapes,length and size of silver / jewelry piece

NOTE: Sometimes alternative stones and components are required because of product availability. The Corona Virus affected logistics on a global scale so access to goods and shipping might take longer than usual. However being proactive is key. Using proper communication and higher shipping standards make things run more efficiently.

STAGE 1

CONCEPTUALIZATION AND QUOTE

The project is discussed with the client to determine the concept and vision,style,measurements etc.

If the client prefers,photos of stones and components they will be available for the client to see. Once this has been established, a quote will be sent to the client for approval. The client is required to send a confirmation email back.

STAGE 2

DESIGN INCEPTION

Estimated timeline and product availability will be discussed at this time.

When the initial 50% deposit has been sent, the masterpiece will be on its way.The designer opts to stay in good communication with the client. It is recommended that any changes or new ideas be disclosed at this time.

STAGE 3

PROGRESS AND REVIEWING PROCESS

The designer will inform the client of the progress at this time with a more accurate and closer view of the delivery timeline. Any measurement changes need to be finalized at this time.

STAGE 4

SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

At this stage the logistics will be organized and estimated delivery time set. The shipping costs are added to the final remaining balance owed. The client will be contacted.

PAYMENT INFORMATION

DELIVERY TIMELINE

A 50% deposit is required before commencement of the job and the remaining balance is to be paid before delivery. Payment is accepted via Paypal, email transfer or cash. All sales outside of Canada are in USD. Because this jewelry is custom made, refunds are not available.

Orders may take approximately 2 to 4 weeks or more to complete depending on customization,alterations and product availability.

It is essential that all the right precautions and measurements are taken in the shipping and handling process.

If shipping is required,all purchases are insured and shipped with reputable secure and efficient logistics companies DHL,UPS, FedEx, Purolator etc...

Shipping and insurance costs are based on size, weight, timeline, destination and value. They are calculated during the design process and added to the final price of the purchased item.

WHAT IF THE JEWELRY IS DAMAGED DURING SHIPPING?

The state and condition of all custom orders are inspected and recorded before being shipped to a customer.

The jewelry is shipped using high quality standard packaging and shipping methods.

Because of the nature of the busines, all jewelry is final.

The logistics are logged from time of departure to the final destination. All deliveries require a signature.

On the unlikely event that the jewelry should suffer damages during shipping, KLCD should be contacted right away so the issue can be resolved as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Taking pictures with a timeline and documenting evidence is always helpful.

KLCD will cover repairs,replacements and shipping costs.
